Mapsolute GmbH, owner and operator of Map24, is a producer of geographic software. Although the headquarters lies in Eschborn, Germany (just outside Frankfurt) Mapsolute is very much an international firm with branches in Great Britain, the USA and Finland. Mapsolute divides itself into three separate business units: technology (the focus), professional services and the ASP service, Map24.

Mapsolute's own unique technology, MapTP, offers different interfaces (with C++, Java, XML SOAP and AJAX). The technology can be used to display high-quality maps and precise route planning. Freight exchanges, fleet management, call center management, GPS tracking and marketing management all use the MapTP techonolgy. Licencees of the MapTP technology include:
