I do not want to tinker with what I am unsure of, but will note here that in this article the i in Lainez is shown with an acute accent, whereas on several other sites--university sites--it is the letter a that is accented.

Someone who knows about accents in Spanish words and names might want to look this over.

Mújica is written with a tilde on the "u", since it's a proparoxytone (you say 'mujica, not mu'jica). Laínez has a tilde on the "i", since it means "son of Laín", and Laín does have the tilde [1].--RiseRover|talk 13:42, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
