[edit] NPOV

While marking this article as a stub, I was struck by the sentence "Assasinated in 1979 during a time of great political repression by the extreme right wing military dominated government". I'm not sure if this is a fair representation of the situation, but the language is strong, so I marked this so someone more knowledgable on the subject might weigh in. lowercase 08:03, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

I have reduced POV element and shown assassination in context. Hopefully it is ok to take the NPOV notice off but I'll leave it there for a bit to gauge opinion. Mtiedemann 13:54, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
I agree leaving the NPOV tag for a few days is a good idea. My impression, though, is that the new language is much more measured and reasonable. Thanks for your work on this article. lowercase 17:38, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move

Colom Argueta → Manuel Colom Argueta … Rationale: Article title should reflect his name, Manuel was his forename and was used, currently title is just his two surnames. Mtiedemann 13:55, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
