This is one of the sections. I have highlighted places where the computer translation of this is obvious. I have also highlighted places which I do not understand. I have put numbers (in brackets) referring to info at the bottom.

In April 1851, the company of Manuel Baquedano was trimming(1) at the Palacio de la Moneda (the house of the government), since he played a decisive role in the confrontation with the troops that rebelled, on the 20th of that month, against the ascent of Manuel Montt like(2) President. These were to the control of colonel Pedro Urriola, supported by liberal young people, between those who he was his friend Eusebio Lillo. The revolution was followed by the armed uprising in Concepción, by troops under the control of general Jose Maria de la Cruz. Baquedano was named assistant of general Manuel Bulnes, participating next to the forces of the government in the battle of Loncomilla, in December 1851. There, he faced his father and his Eleuterio(3) brother, to those who he helped after finished the confrontation, in spite of being in opposite sides. Manuel Montt awarded its(4) services promoting him in January of 1852 to sergeant major of the government escort.

  1. What is this meant to mean?
  2. This has been translated as like because of the use of the word cómo in Spanish. This should be as.
  3. Is this adjective necessary (or is it his brother's name?)
  4. Again a mistranslation. This should be his. (Same word - sus.)

There is something else in the next section. I suggest someone fluent in both Spanish and English (I'm not fluent in Spanish) translates the errors properly or the whole article again. Jake95 21:32, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
