I saw this on the recent changes page and so tried to reshape it into an article more appropriate for Wikipedia, but it's not a topic about which I know a whole lot, or would normally edit. So, someone with more knowledge of the game should take a look at the original version and see if I missed any important details. -- Zarvok 16:36, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Nicely done. TheParanoidOne
"When the Legion first invaded the world of Azeroth, Mannoroth battled against the demigod Cenarius."
I can't find any reference to any such battle. During the first invasion by the Burning Legion they both happened to be there, but I don't recall seeing anything about a battle specifically between the two of them. So it is possible that this line should be removed.

In Wrcraft 3, I seem to remember Mannoroth saying something along the lines of Cenarius being a 'worthy adversary' and he would 'relish the chance to meet him again in battle'. I can't remember the exact quote though.
I am not entirily sure but I seem to remember reading in the article dedicated to The Burning Legion that the Pitlords were under Kil'Jaeden's direct command, not Archimond's. Only a trivial detail but I'd like someone more knowledgable on the subject to comfirm or deny this and take appropriate action for the good of the article, however small.
i don't know who added it, but the top half of Mannoroths corpse is not in Outland. The corpse in Outland has a different weapon, and Mannoroth's spear, skull, and armor can all be seen on Azeroth. I am going to remove this information. GenMalSis 13:27, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
