On my paty let me present my source for the name [hämeentie/tavastvägen]. Hämeenkatu is in tampere. Gillis 06:39, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
I don't know about Tampere, but I am almost certain there is no Hämeenkatu anywhere in Helsinki. JIP | Talk 18:35, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Having been to Tampere several times (well what can I do, my job demands it) I can verify that Hämeenkatu is, indeed, one of the most famous streets in Tampere. I still haven't found a Hämeenkatu in Helsinki, though. Hämeentie (not katu, as previously erroneously claimed) is the longest street in Helsinki. JIP | Talk 18:12, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
