Manuel Lapuente (born May 15, 1944) is a Mexican football (soccer) coach and former player, currently working as vicepresident of football operations for Club América.
He played 13 matches for the Mexico national team , scoring 5 goals.
He coached Mexico at the 1998 FIFA World Cup. At the club level, he has coached CF Puebla, Necaxa and Club América to Mexican league titles during his tenure as a manager.
