Manu Kumaran is a passionate and aggresive film producer. Manu Kumaran is not new to the world of cinema, especially the Malayalam film industry. Considering he started handling film distribution at the age of 16 and later became one of the fastest movers in advertising, from being a trainer to the Vice-President of Lintas Bombay in less than three years.

His first venture in Bollywood was an experiment called Bombay Boys. One that succeeded in breaking the art-commercial film barrier rather easily. He belives in the cimema which is logical, sensible at the same time commercial.Manu Kumaran's father Mr K P Kumaran is a very successful south Indian film director.

Manu Kumaran's first film was Bombay Boys in year 1998. The film was directed by Kaizad Gustad and it was a youth film and was a hit. His second film was Kis Kis Ko which was released in the year 2004 directed by Sharad Sharan. In year 2006 he produced a film again directed by Kaizad Gustad named Bombil and Beatrice which in Cannes Film festival and will be released this year. The film is in english language. His other upcoming films this year are Aakashagopuram directed by Mr K P Kumaran which is in malayam language staring south Indian superstar Mohanlal.This film is inspired from the renowned Norwegian writer Henrik Ibsen's play named Master Builder. Mr Singh/Mrs Mehta directed by Pravesh Bhardwajwhich is in hindi and Thoondiil which is directed by K S Adhiyaman which is in tamil.
