Manu Bhandari

Mannu Bhandari (born April 3, 1931, Bhanpura, Rajastan, India), is a prominent Indian author. She attended school in Ajmer and later obtained an M.A in Hindi from the Kashi Hindu University[citation needed]. Bhandari's works have been translated into many Indian languages and some have been adapted into films. The Hindi movie Rajnigandha, which was based on her novel Yahi Sach Hai, won the Best Motion Picture prize at the 1974 Filmfare awards.She is wife of famous Hindi Writer Rajendra Yadav
