Mantador is a city in Richland County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 71 at the 2000 census. Mantador was founded in 1893.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 71 people, 31 households, and 15 families residing in the city. The population density was 195.8/km² (501.5/mi²). There were 37 housing units at an average density of 102.0/km² (261.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White.
There were 31 households out of which 38.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.4% were married couples living together, 3.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 48.4% were non-families. 48.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 22.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.29 and the average family size was 3.50.
In the city the population was spread out with 29.6% under the age of 18, 8.5% from 18 to 24, 28.2% from 25 to 44, 18.3% from 45 to 64, and 15.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 97.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.3 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $26,875, and the median income for a family was $41,875. Males had a median income of $37,500 versus $0 for females. The per capita income for the city was $14,849. There were no families and 2.9% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 15.4% of those over 64.
