Mansfield is a village located in Dufferin County, Ontario, Canada. There is no principal industry in Mansfield. Many of the village's residents commute to urban areas for employment. The only major employment in the area is Mansfield Ski Club, located 4 kilometres north of the village. Commercial operations in Mansfield consist of Mansfield general store and the Shell gas station. These businesses serve as major stopping points for people travelling between the Toronto area in the summer as well as people travelling to the Collingwood area for skiing in the winter.

A major current issue for the residents is the community's new water system. Residents must pay as much as $12 000. On the other side of the issue is the fact that water safety standards are higher. Also, the new water system enabled the development of a new subdivision on the east side of the village. The water issue has been featured on CBC national news.
