A manqabat is a Qawwali or Sufi devotional song, in praise of Ameer - ul - Momineen Hazrat Ali (AS). The most famous Manqabat, which is sung at all functions, is "Mun kunto Maula" by Amir Khusrau, sung in praise of Maula Ali. This Manqabat has been performed by many famous singers and Qawwals including Qawwal Bahauddin and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
