Mannerchar is located at 22°51′29.9″ N 92°7′0.1″ E (22.8583, 92.1167) . It has 6043 units of house hold and total area 393.68 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^GRBangladeh, Mannerchar has a population of 34561. Males constitute are 52.67% of the population, and females 47.33%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 16882. Mannerchar has an average literacy rate of 33.9% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[1]
