Manmohan Waris born August 3,Nawan Pind Akalian, Shahkot, Dist Jalandhar. Brother of Kamal Heer and Sangtar, who are also celebrated Punjabi musicians. He was born deformed and heavily premeture with his ears stuck to his head and his fingers stuck together.He is heavily influenced by Dhadi Amar Singh Shouki.He is trained in classical and folk music. His mentor was Jaswant Bamwra.

Manmohan Waris is married to Pritpal Kaur. They have two children; a boy named Amar Heer, and a girl named Saiya Heer.

Manmohan Waris latest release is Tasveer, a religious album. n we peronally like this album very much. Keep it up man. do some good music n dont forget ur culture. Lots of God blessing to you from me Ranjodh Singh Makkar.
