Manmad

Manmad is a railway junction of Indian Railways in Nashik district in India. It is a very small place. Many trains do not have direct connection to Nashik. Manmad is the nearest junction to get down at. Nashik is an hours journey by train from Manmad. By bus,it takes some 2.5 hrs to Nashik from Manmad.

Manmad is famous for Food Corporation of India, Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil and Gurudwara. The gurudwara of Manmad is number 3 in India. It is very beautiful.

In addition to all those things mentioned above , Manmad is a very crucial junction for all those who want to travel to Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Konkan or Bangalore. It is a town with majority of population dominated by Central Railway Employees . Its Central Railway Engineering workshop completed its 100 years of service to the nation in Dec 2005 .
