Manhattan Clique

Manhattan Clique is a remix and DJ duo consisting of electronic and house music producers Philip Larsen and Chris Smith. Larsen and Smith have released some material using the moniker Groove Collision. Manhattan Clique already had a long resumé of remixes and international DJing performances when they were approached by Erasure frontman Andy Bell to produce his debut solo album Electric Blue. Bell was already familiar with Larsen and Smith's work as they had remixed several Erasure tunes.
Electric Blue was the first album-production work for the duo, as previously they were most known as remixers.
Larsen and Smith have completed a DJ-mix compilation album entitled Stop Collaborate and Listen, which will be released under the Groove Collision name. Release date is pending.
Larsen won a Grammy for his work on Kylie Minogue's "Come Into My World" in 2004.
In October 2006, the duo landed their first no.1 as producers on Moby's French and Belgian hit "Slipping Away - Crier La Vie" - a duet with Mylene Farmer.
