Mangerton Mountain (An Mhangarta in Irish) is an 839 m-high mountain situated in County Kerry in the Republic of Ireland. Mangerton lies in an unnamed mountain range which lies just to the east of the town of Killarney, often referred to as the East Kerry mountains for convenience. A large portion of the mountain range lies within Killarney National Park, including the entire western slope of Mangerton Mountain itself. Mangerton is bordered by a relatively low boggy plateau to the west, from which it rises dramatically to a flat summit, dented on the north-western side by the Devil's Punchbowl, a large corrie lake. To the east of the summit, the ground falls away into a deep U-shaped valley called Glenacappul or the Horse's Glen, beyond which lies the 705 m high Stoompa.
