Manga Revolution

Manga Revolution is an art website dedicated to the Japanese arts of manga and anime. It went through two phases: Project Revolution, (also called Version 1.0) and Project Phoenix (now the 2.0) Manga Revolution.com (version 1 and 2) are created, operated, and owned by Ben Johnson (aka: augustc4). Although version 1 lasted 2+ years and received well over 6-million hits per month, augustc4 was eventually out of money, time, and unable to continue hosting the vast website. As a result, version 2 was born to keep the name alive.

Ben Johnson aka Augustc4 is the creator of Manga Revolution. Originally a topic on the How To Draw Manga websites forums, he and a few people left the site to start Manga Revolution. As more people joined the site, more options were added to the site, helping it grow. Eventually, due to money issues, the site was shut down, and replaced with a less money intensive site.

[edit] Chibi Wars
Chibi Wars is a fictional world where "Chibi" or child like anime characters, fought using art supplies, in a seemingly endless war. Usually drawn using pencil or the computer via tablet mouses, Chibi wars often portrayed different events of the Manga-Revolution world, usually at different times. At the time of writing, there were three separate comic events, with several thousand stand alone pictures.

Once upon a time, there was a young man, by name of Augustc4 of MR who lived in a little community called Manga Revolution, which he built with his own two bare hands. He drew with a normal pencil and wielded it well. Sadly, one day, his pencils broke and his sworn enemy Zeratanus revealed himself as he who broke young Augustc4's pencils. This sight of terror struck in the hearts of all MR villagers, and Zeratanus declared war, or Augustc4 declared war on the evil Chibi. (or good chibi)
One by one, the free people of MR joined, choosing their sides. OSP, known as the Old School Pencil, and the NPI, Neo Imperial Pencils (mechanical pencils) started striking out, for their cause.
Young August was lucky though. Befriending a young Knight, called Syldan, they started the Old School Knights, to strike down the semi evil forces of Zera. Zera faced difficult times during the early stages of the war (which is still being waged) He had many members, but sadly, most of them mysteriously went missing (lack of activeness on the site) and his forces were down in numbers.
All the while there was another young fellow, Dirksyde, who sat on the white line. Unsure of who to join. He eventually became known as SOTA. As months passed, another young fellow joined the growing community, who's name was Destiny. Despite being mistaken as a girl, due to his name, he joined SOTA with the even more evil plot to let NPI and OSP duke out the war, until both sides were down, then he would take over. He grew quite popular, gaining many, many fangirls, and a forced marriage through the evil scheming of Zera.
Meanwhile, a little ninja girl came to the community, nicknamed AE, and was unsure of who to join. AFter much consideration, she joined NPI, and became the pupil of the Bold chief Ninja master of the NPI, Tubenose. Ever since, the NPIN (Neo Pencil Imperial Ninjas) have caused havoc for both SOTA and OSP. To name a few of the mischievous NPIN, are Fishstick, Inky, JW, and the x-nin, current Pirate they're sure not what to do with, Maniac.
This war is still waging, and many have joined, which cause they believe to be true. These Chibi, despite their often lack of genuine behavior, have thus waged this war, unable to give up. MR ever grows, new recruits everyday, and Chibi Wars though somewhat quiet right now, shall boom into full action again!
Through the weeks and months, Chibi Wars has gained many areas of battles. the Normal Chibi Wars, Metal Gear Chibi and more. NPI has grown into a mega electronic faction, with hackers, ninjas, and clever monkeys. OSP has become the ways of tradition, honoring the past with its Samurai and tactics. SOTA has become more evil then ever. Its girls flock every corner of the ever growing community, causing havoc with its cookie bombs, and highly active fighters........
