This article is about a type of armor. For the novel, see The Mandalorian Armor.

Mandalorian armor is a type of armor in the Star Wars universe worn by a culture of human warriors who call themselves Mandalorians after their ruler inherited the title Mandalore. The armor is made of Mandalorian iron, a mineral unique to the planet Mandalore. It has varied through the ages, from the unique sets of armor worn by the Mandalorian Crusaders, to the uniform-like sets worn by the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, to the new-age armor worn by the Mandalorian Protectors, the True Mandalorians, and the Death Watch. It is superior armor in many aspects, blaster-proof and shock-absorbing, capable of administering stimulants to the wearer's body, and resistant to lightsaber blades and the Jedi Force, owing to the inherent quality of the Mandalorian iron. This armor came in a variety of colors with various customization from the various wearers, so no two sets were completely alike.

The bounty hunters Boba and Jango Fett were famous for their heavily customized Mandalorian armor. Its unusual properties help to preserve Boba's life after he fell into the Sarlacc in Return of the Jedi.

As seen in Attack of Clones and Empire Strikes Back the armor can be modified to accept weapons and equipment. These weapons include flamethrowers, wrist lasers, jetpack mounted rockets, knee mounted dart launchers, a concussion grenade launcher, four kinds of sensors, and a broadband antenna.
