[edit] Team history
After helping the Yorkshire Rams to the BAFL Division 2 Finals in 2002, ex-Manchester Allstars Youth player Rik Lowthion joined forces with Lee Morton and formed the Titans to bring American Football back to Manchester after a long absence. Entering the BAFL in 2003, the fledgling team valiantly achieved a 1-8-1 record.
in 2004, the Titans withdrew from the League due to a shortage of players and disagreements on how to take the team forward.
The Titans rejoined the BAFL in 2005 and their 5-5 record was good enough for 2nd place in Division 2 Central and a place in the Quarter-Finals. A defeat at the hands of the West Coast Trojans ended the team's playoff progress but didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the players in their first year back in the League.
2006 was a tougher season, with high-hopes for improving on 2005 dashed by several injuries to key players.
The Titans are always looking for new players and no experience is necessary.
