Manchester Science Enterprise Centre

The Manchester Science Enterprise Centre (MSEC) is an organisation at the University of Manchester that focuses on stimulating enterprise and entrepreneurship. MSEC offer Enterprise programmes and units available from first year undergraduate to doctoral level including training programmes and workshops for individuals and businesses.
MSEC established the unique Master of Enterprise degree (MEnt) which is designed to prepare people for careers as knowledge based entrepreneurs. This is a 12-month, full-time programme with a part-time option. The programme was designed to be academically rigorous whilst equipping students with the practical skills and knowledge required to successfully take ideas into the marketplace.
MEnt students are based in the MSEC Business Creation Unit in the Zochonis Building of the University.
