Manamoc is an island in the Sulu Sea Quiniluban group of the Cuyo islands, between Palawan and Panay, in the north of the Palawan region of the Philippines. It is located close to the island resort of Pamalican.

The island is essentially supported by fishing and subsidies from the Philippines government. A number of the inhabitants also work as employees on the neighbouring resort island of Pamalican.

The island is clean and prosperous, and well equipped in educational facilities for children. The main religion is the Catholic faith. Tourism is almost nonexistent, except for the sporadic speed-boat visits by curious customers from the Pamalican resort.

[edit] Weather

The weather is broadly regulated by the dry and windy Northeast monsoon from January to May, and the rainy Southwest monsoon from June to November, with a high probability for cyclones between August and November.
