Manali is a town in Thiruvallur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a northern suburb of Chennai. It has an industrial belt with major Chemical Industries, particularly Petrochemical Industry. It is home to Chennai Petrochemical Products Limited.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Manali had a population of 28,174. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Manali has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 67%. In Manali, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
