The Management of the Technology of the Information is a combination of two branches of study, technology and management of information.

Also called Management IT, this name is a common function of the business within corporations. In a strict sense, there are two incarnations to this definition. One implies the management of a collection of systems, infrastructure, and information. Another implies the management of the technologies of information like the function of the business. The first definition is the subject of manual and technical publications of several suppliers of the information technologies; whereas the second definition comes from the discussion and the formation from ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library). The ITIL has actually been through the regions of the world lead mainly by the suppliers on watch IT that consulted to companies.
The deficiency of ready tools presents a significant barrier. Some organizations who value such practices tend to jeopardize consultants to introduce the practice. Such implementations can hit the culture of its own harvest due to a lack of purchase from the interior. Other organizations apply the practices spending the resources to develop to internal instruments. The majority of the developed internal instruments tend to be centered in one or some specific areas where the organizations have the majority of their problems. In order to harvest the complete advantages, the instruments will need to be integrated with IT data of organization.
