Man's Best Friend is a 1993 fictional horror movie in which a genetically-engineered dog turns from man's best friend into man's worst nightmare as he attacks everything that moves.
The dog demonstrated several abilities, including:
- Extremely acidic urine that was able to damage a fire hydrant.
- Sufficient jaw strength to gnaw through a metal brake line.
- Swallowed a cat whole.
It was directed by John Lafia.
This movie is also known to be shown on the cult film Friday. Being watched by John Witherspoon's character, the scene shown is of the mail man being chased by the genetically-engineered dog.
