[edit] forking
Please do not duplicate articles by pasting their cointent into a new name. This is called Wikipedia:Content forking and is very disruptive for Wikipedia. If you think the name is bad and a different name is better. Propose a move at the article's talk. If you can't get a consensus there, submit a WP:RM proposal. Having two articles duplicating each other is a no-no. -_Irpen 23:25, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- The article Makhnovism is a copy of Ukrainian Revolution, not vice versa!--Maliuta 23:33, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

I've reverted your copy-paste move from Makhnovism to Ukrainian Revolution again, because it orphaned the article's edit history. Wikipedia has a GFDL contract with editors to acknowledge their contributions, so this is not allowed. Please don't continue to do this.
To change the name of the article, you have no choice but to post a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves. More background information is at Help:Moving a page. —Michael Z. 2006-10-27 03:15 Z
[edit] Stop forking articles
As you've been told before, using copy-paste to move or duplicate articles is against the rules. You've done this again, duplicating material from Makhnovism (hist) to Ukrainian Revolution of 1918 (hist). This is not acceptable, and I don't appreciate having to clean up after you because you refuse to understand and accept the rules. If you persist, you may find yourself blocked from editing Wikipedia. —Michael Z. 2006-10-30 20:46 Z
