General work
- USS Salish (ATA-187) should be split into two articles... the other being ARA Alférez Sobral
- Houghton, Washington - ship related info needs cleaned up.

Lists that need general info
- List of United States Navy ships - lots to do here
- List of United States Navy losses in World War II - and again
- List of Medal of Honor recipients - times 3
- List of Navy Cross recipients - perhaps I should start this, and base it off of Category:Navy Cross recipients. hummmm perhaps.
- List of World War II ship classes I've been populating this list with entries on Category:Ship classes.
- List of LSTs next to no entries here yet
Ship classes

image replacement
- Image:Naval Jack of the United States.svg has replaced many images that should be using Image:US Naval Jack.svg instead (pretty much all usn ships from the 1840s-2000 should have the stars instead of the 'don't tread on me' jack)
- US Navy Jack listing of all usn jacks by years in which they served. Useful!
