i have doubt about when they made love. I have the uncut edition, and in no point of the movie Renato and Malena actually made love. Renato did have sex with a prostitute who looked like Malena. Maybe the author got confused? User:172.156.221.157

Agreed, and the phrase removed. Renato has sex with a prostitute who looks like Malèna, and he fantasizes about having sex with Malèna, but he never actually does. —Lowellian (reply) 05:16, September 1, 2005 (UTC)

Similarly I've seen footage of a dream sequence in which the boy kneels in front of Malena and fondles her a bit, but the scene goes no further than that. Lucky kid, regardless. 24.71.223.140 15:05, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
