Malini

Malini or Mālinī (Sanskrit: मालिनी) was the name of river that was flowing in the forest where the ashrama of Kanva rishi was situated and Dushyanta fell in love with Shakuntala. Literally, a woman who makes garlands. The Hindu goddess Kali has "munda-malini" or "a woman who makes garlands of skulls" as one of her many names.
