Malcolm Evans is a New Zealand cartoonist residing in Auckland.

His cartoons appear once weekly in Auckland suburban newspapers owned by Fairfax New Zealand and his Edna character has been running fortnightly for the last 25 years in New Zealand's largest farming newspaper Rural News. He also produces a cartoon for the nationally distributed bi-weekly, New Zealand Catholic.

Evans had supplied cartoons to the New Zealand Herald for six years but in 2002 was dismissed since he submitted numerous cartoons which were seen by the newspaper as being antisemitic. During his time at the New Zealand Herald he was twice awarded the New Zealand Cartoonist of the Year.
