Malaba

Malaba is a town on the Kenya-Uganda border, and an important border crossing between the two countries. It is located on the busy Nairobi-Kampala road. The nearby town of Busia is also a busy border post.

Malaba on the Kenyan side of the border is the main town of Teso District. It had a population of 7302 according to the 1999 census.[1]

On the Ugandan side of the border, Malaba is a market town, located a few kilometers south of Tororo town.
