- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.
If you are interested in Ukraine-related themes, you may want to check out the Ukraine Portal, particularly the Portal:Ukraine/New article announcements and Portal:Ukraine/Ukraine-related Wikipedia notice board. The New article announcements board is probably the most important and the most attended one. Please don't forget to announce there the new articles you create. Adding both boards to your watchlist is probably a good idea.
Finally, in case you are interested, similar boards exist at Russia portal as many editors contribute to topics related to both countries. The respective boards there are: Portal:Russia/New article announcements and Portal:Russia/Russia-related Wikipedia notice board. Of course there are also many other portals at Wikipedia or you may just get right into editing.
Again, welcome!--Irpen 18:53, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Foto sukraine2 b.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Foto sukraine2 b.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Ukrainian
The page Ukrainian is not an actual article, but a disambiguation page. Please don't link to it, but directly to the subject you intend, such as Ukrainian language, Ukrainian people, or Ukraine. Similar rules apply to other nationalities. Ntsimp 18:16, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ukrainian Football
Yea, I've renewed my interest in editing Ukrainian football-related WP articles at least in the short run. Hopefully I'll be able to update as much hard data as possible, as a lot of it appears to have been out of date for quite some time. Thanks for your hardwork on the edits as well and thanks for stopping by my page! --Palffy 16:36, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

- On a separate note, I noticed what you did with the Karpaty Lviv and Metalurh Zaporizhzhya page. Although the pages might be more aesthetically pleasing the way you edited them to me, we have to abide by certain standards with regards to recurrent logo use and team squads. Have a look at the pages of the current Champions League finalists if you're not sure what I mean, [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], and [8]. --Palffy 18:58, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- Here is the talk page for the template and here is the specific discussion on its use.. Also, be sure to sign your comments on other user pages by leaving 4 tildas (~) at the end of each message ;) --Palffy 19:57, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I guess the text that's worth focusing on is Well, the template has never been imposed, but instead realized and longily debated, so its use is (of course) strongly recommended, and the "great" consensus you talked about have been already reached. I personally have no attachment to the templates, so I'm personally not going to go and change them back to that standard, but its very likely that someone else will come along and decide to change them into the standard form at a later point in time. I'm just letting you know that a good deal of content on Wikipedia pages is standardized and that additional aesthetics are considered poor editing or just plain unnecessary. I'm just advising you to be aware of this for your future edits so you can be more constructive and helpful as you add to the project (what you want to do with your previous edits is upto you). Cheers and best of luck! --Palffy 23:56, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
