Makom

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hebrew word 'Makom' [lit. The Place] is a pronoun often used in Jewish Rabbinical sources to signify God. It is used to signify the idea that God is the true 'Place of the Universe'. This is to signify that the physical Universe is considered to be subsumed and encapsuled in the domain of God who is not limited in any way by the physical Universe.
