Making of America

Making of America (MoA) is a digital archive hosted by Cornell University and the University of Michigan. The Making of America collection at the University of Michigan consists primarily of books published in the United States between 1850 and 1877. The Making of America collection at Cornell contains almost 1,000 volumes of 22 journals from the 19th century. As of February 2007 the University of Michigan held 12,639 volumes containing 3,792,847 pages of e-text.
