"Makes Me Wonder" is the name of the upcoming first single from Maroon 5's upcoming sophomore album, It Won't Be Soon Before Long. They have already recorded a video and the song has already debuted on the radio in the US and in the Netherlands. The video premiered on Total Request Live on March 29. From interviews given by the band members it is confirmed that the video is shot at a futuristic airport with the actual song content about heartache and politics.[1] The video was shot in LAX Los Angeles International Airport and the LA Department of Transportation.

The song has had one of the biggest bullets in Hot Adult Contemporary history, with many AC radio stations putting it into heavy rotation in only a mere matter of days after its release. This is especially unusual for AC radio, as many songs take quite some time after their release to get substantial AC airplay. The song is expected to debut in the top 20 on the Hot AC chart.
