Make Me A Supermodel was a modelling contest reality TV show hosted and judged by supermodel Rachel Hunter. It airs on Five in the UK. The premise of the show is very similar to Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model except for that the public vote who they want to remain in the game after four models are selected by the panel to be up for eviction if they have under-performed.

[edit] Season One

This season premiered Tuesday 1 March 2005, and it followed 13 girls (including twins) as they try to win a modelling contract with Select Model Management. The judges eliminated 10 girls themselves, but allowed the public to vote for who should win out of the last 3 in a live catwalk show presented by Tess Daly and Dave Berry. By the final catwalk episode the 3 girls remaining were Kate Ellery, Alice Sinclair and Joanna Downes. Alice Sinclair was eventually voted as the winner of the show.

[edit] Season Two

The second season premiered Sunday 15 October 2006 and takes on a different form from the first. This time there are six boys and six girls competing, for the one contract. Twice the drama, twice the heartache, twice the fun. We watch the twelve young hopefuls as the transfer from girl, or boy next door, to supermodel. In the first week, the judges put Josh, Marianne, Jono and Katie up for eviction, and by the end of the week the judges chose Katie and Jono to be booted out. The next week was a little different, the judges again chose their four for eviction, but then put it to the public vote. The four contestants up for eviction had to do a live Catwalk, and viewers would vote for the boy and girl they want to keep in. This happens every week, until the public vote for a winner. The live Catwalk shows are presented by Fearne Cotton every Friday.
