The music video premiered on September 27, 2006, on BET's Access Granted. DJ Khaled, Cool & Dre, Birdman, Diddy, Rick Ross, Oliver Coats, Triple C and Young Money make cameo appearances in the video. The video was directed by Mr. Roboto & VinCock and produced by Nicole Acacio for production company Robot Films.

An Official remix for the single was released early 2007 featuring R. Kelly, Lil' Wayne, Birdman, T.I., DJ Khaled, Ace Mac & Rick Ross. The video was directed by R. Malcolm Jones and produced by Patty Simonetta for production company Cafe 451.
Another remix for this was released in the Fall of 2006 featuring Trina.

The act of throwing large amounts of cash money into the air in order to "make it rain", the phenomenon related to the song and video, has caused some controversy in 2007 as Tennessee Titans football player Pacman Jones was arrested at a strip club after performing the act.
