Talk:Major characters in The Smurfs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It doesn't appear to be addressed, specifically in the description of Gargamel, that his physiology is not conventional with childrens cartoon charactures, or with any other characters within 'The Smurfs'. Most childrens cartoon characters are drawn with only three fingers or appendages for paws, hands, feet et al. Garagmel has all five fingers on each hand, breaking common convention. Not sure if the reason why he has all five fingers is known.
- Probably because he is human? All humans in the Smurfs, Johan and Peewit, and basically most European comics, have five fingers. The Smurfs only have four (not three), but then again, they aren't human. Fram 20:08, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
