Maine Windjammers

The Maine Windjammers were a semi-pro basketball team based out of Portland, Maine. It was affiliated with the Continental Basketball Association. It was around in the CBA's 1985-1986 season. [1] After that season, the team was dropped, and it would be a decade before a basketball team would return to the Portland area, with the Portland Wave, a team in the USBL.
