Mai can mean several things:
- Mai (Traditional Chinese : 麥) is a Chinese surname that is often transliterated as "Mak".
- Mai also means "May", the fifth month of the year in the Gregorian Calendar, in French, German, Norwegian and Welsh,
- Mai also means "golden flower", in Vietnamese. It refers to the Forsythia blooms that are used during the Lunar New Year, and are considered good luck.
