I am a worshipper of Shiva, although I also grew up as a Buddhist.

I am based in Bangkok, Thailand and Jaipur, India.

A wise teacher of mine once stated that, in the world we which live in today each individual wants to see immediate results, without worrying the least as to the causes which bring them about. In this I am chiefly referring to modern world as it is, despite of the fact that at no other time in the history of our current race have we had the means or the opportunity to initiate propitious reform and fundamental progress at the planetary level. I certainly agree with her. Dharma is nature, and has our current civilization not been corrupting and distorting the nature of our planet. It is foolish of modern man to think that he can be exempted from the retribution of Dharma, whether at the individual or collective level, like a child waiting in vain hope of a lost cause and ignorant of self-knowledge and true advancements abound. Is it not true that fundamentalists of various kind and those under various guises seems content in seeing modern man plunging into this fiery path of destruction, although what are they too, in the end, if not part of the great yet petty plan.. The noble likes of Rene Guenon, and other Traditionalist have done well to address this issue..speakers of truth, yet awareness of the divine truth of which they have brought back to the mundanes of the current age has been hidden rather than given to the embrace of humanity, such is the way of the modern world and the elitist perception of those in power.. Although at a level it is possible to understand their motive of preserving their hold on power. Knowledge is power, yet power corrupts. Thus since antiquity it has been known that knowledge/power entrusted in the wrong hands would eventually lead to decadence. Although in our particular case, that seems to be the reason why knowledge was given to those whom are briefly holding the reigns of earthly power, for this brief period of amusement in their futile and self serving attempt to ride the tiger and serve the objectives of the minority, rather than the true desires of the masses. An emerging dream of equality and advancement. The majority/proletariats are certainly not to be blamed as they have been tricked and lead into the appreciation of various false doctrines, imagining capital accumulation to be the ultimate objective of society at the micro as well as the macro level, with the vain hope that technological progress will at some point solve these imbalances created and sustain the lifespan of the species. This is of course a general observation, with full realization of the great number of noble spirit and selfless dedication pertained to others by many a great souls of the current age, more and more whom are being brought back, emerging and awakening. In any case it is important to keep in mind that greed and discrimination against others is after all, an indicator of deficiency of one's own self which is of course a great hindrance to personal as well as collective progress.
