Mahasti (Persian: مهستی) is an Iranian pop singer. Since the Iranian Revolution, she has taken residence in the United States.

She was born in 1946, younger sister of another very famous singer, Hayedeh. she married Kouros nazemiyan whom, worked for a Petrolium company in Abadan. The result of the marriage was Sahar, Mahasti's only child. she lived in Abadan for several years with her family and then moved to tehran. She got divorced from Nazemiyan and married Bahram Sanandaji who was an owner of a shoe factory and soon the marriage with Bahram fell apart too. She immigrated to UK in 1978 and a few years later to USA where she currently resides. she started a new collaboration with Mehran, a young singer, who is also her manager. She continues giving concerts throughout the world.
