Maharishi Vedic Science

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is about the modern Maharishi concept. See Vedanga for the historical six disciplines of Vedic science.

Maharishi Vedic Science, as described as an integrated science based on ancient Vedic texts, theorizes an underlying, universal intelligence, or universal, laws - of- nature that underlies all of the created universe including the human mind and body, and that can be experienced in individual practice as the simplest state of awareness. This universal intelligence, theoretically, also gives rise to our created universe. The ability to experience this universal intelligence, or source of creation, is said to be available through the practice of one arm of Maharishi Vedic Science, Transcendental Meditation, and the more advanced program the TM-Sidhi program. The other arm of Maharishi Vedic Science, the Vedic Literature [1], is said to arise out of this universal intelligence as flavors or frequencies and is said to describe the entire created universe.
