Maharaja Agrasen College

Maharaja Agrasen College is a college of Delhi University, located in the Trans-Yamuna area of Delhi in Mayur Vihar. It has always remained in the top-rankers list in Journalism, Business Economics, Electronics, Computer Applications and Information Technology.

Established in 1994 with the objective of catering to the educational requirements of the densely populated East Delhi area, it attracts students from all parts of New Delhi and NCR (near capital region).
The college is fully funded by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi. It has valuable infrastructural assets like a computer centre, fully computerized Library, well equipped laboratories, state - of - the - art conference hall etc. The Govt. of NCT of Delhi is taking a keen interest in sanctioning multi-crore building project which is likely to take off in the current academic session.
Maharaja Agrasen College got most popular in DU circle through its Journalism & English honours course. Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) course started in MAC, ignited a new era where all the top rankers of the tough BIT entrance examination took admission in MAC.
