I'm a little confused. This article seems to claim that the Magic temperament exactly hits a 3:1 ratio. How is it possible that this has a "period" of an octave? The Bohlen-Pierce scale article seems to claim that any equal temperament with an exact 3:1 ratio cannot ever hit an octave (2:1) exactly. --68.0.120.35 00:26, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
