The Magyar Légiero (Royal Hungarian Air Force) are the Air Unit of Royal Hungarian Army Magyar Honvédség during WWII. your primary task was defend territoire against enemy raids and providing air cover to land forces. during wartimes such unit was aligned to Axis Powers forces in Eastern Front period, under led of Luftwaffe.
The original sign of Hungarian A.F. was horizontal borded red with white and center green triangle over yello tail surface and upper and lowest surface wings, amongst the yellow paint engine cover and vertical line in fuselage;later changed to Black square with white cross in center in fuselage and wings amongst red-white-green horizontal paint in upper tail surface.
One Section was acted with Hungarian Army Detachment in advances to Ukraine and Russian Central Front to Stalingrad period, alongside of German, Italian, and Romanian forces. for other side in metropoli was figthing against USAAF over Budapest and other areas in proper country. in your case the Hungarian A.F. used the majority of your equipment in Eastern Front with great losses also.
The Royal Hungarian Air Force,at last stages of conflict figthing alongside of Axis forces against Soviet forces and your newest Slovakian and Romanian allies until final, when last units was retired to Austria and southern Germany for destroyed your planes for prevent of falling in enemy hands;amongst other served in Luftwaffe volunteer units also.
