Magnus LyonHart

Magnus Lyonhart (1741-1773) was an Irish murderer and influential member of the Black Mage Order, a secret subterranean society. He was born William Mansfield, in Dublin, Ireland and was orphaned as a baby.

Two weeks after his birth, Lyonhart's parents were killed in a Dublin back alley by two members of the Gargantuan Sect. The unsuspecting child remembered nothing of his true parents, as their murderers adopted him in order to seize their riches. William's real name was unknown to him in his youth, as was his connection to the secret subterranean society called The Black Mage Order. At the age of seven, he was sent to an abbey in Lincolnshire, England as punishment for his violent tantrums. His life there took a turn because he was sexually molested by the priests. This event would be the cause of violent dreams and traumatic flashbacks all through his adulthood.

According to his Memoir and other records, at the age of eighteen William uncovered the truth about his biological parent's murder. Along with his childhood friend Timothy Von Russell, he proceeded on murderous rampages, claiming the lives of his "parents" Edward Mansfield and Madame Mary Scarlet, his caretaker Henry Bronson, the parents of his childhood friend Renity "Rena" Howard also known as Serenity Youngchild, a slave in his manor only recorded as being named "Carmichael" his wife, and infant child. The Irish/British authorities almost succeeded in apprehending the threesome before they escaped to France, stowaways on an British merchants ship.

According to record, William and his crew landed in Normandy in 1760. At the time he was 19. There, he meet a professional in the Black Arts, Sir Matthais Bison. Bison had previously traveled the world and had returned from Asia when he was given specific instructions to find and retrieve young William before the Gargantuan Sect. got to him. (According to legend, William was attacked in an alley which has been since blamed on the Sect. luckily Bison found him in time to save his life.) Bison adopted William as his pupil, and stuck by his side during his traumatic first years in The Order.

According to the book, Morbid LyonHart , he went on to become one of highest ranking men in the Black Mage Order. After finding out details, still unknown to this day, about the society he unexpectedly left, and went on to live a life of isolation with his companion. He lived a quiet life until his death a few years later in 1773.

Because no official record of his death exists, no one knows for sure how exactly he died. All that was documented was the year of his death. Many historians attribute his death to Typhus or Malaria, but many believed he was killed. The common belief was that he was burned at the stake, many reasons for this idea were given in the book Morbid LyonHart.
