Magnano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 km northeast of Turin and about 9 km south of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 384 and an area of 10.5 km2.[1]

The municipality of Magnano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bose, Broglina, Carrera, Piletta, San Sudario, and Tamagno.

Magnano borders the following municipalities: Bollengo, Cerrione, Palazzo Canavese, Piverone, Torrazzo, Zimone, Zubiena.
