Magmart | video under volcano is an international videoart festival, that have place in Naples, Italy.
The festival is a project of italian studio tad (design) in partnership with CAM Casoria Contemporary Art Museum and GenomART (art portal), and its first edition has take place in January 2006, with participation of about 190 artworks, from a wide range of countries in the world.
The 30 selected videos (by a Jury), has becomed part of permanent collection of CAM.
The second edition of festival (2007) has seen the participation of over 220 artworks, always from all the world, with a remarkable increase of women's participation (about 33% of all artists).
As for the 1st edition, the 30 selected videos (by a Jury), has becomed part of permanent collection of CAM.
