Magliano (3.000 persons) is a fraction in the comune of Carmiano in the province of Lecce in the Apulia or Puglia region in Italy. It is located 10 km southwest of the city of Lecce.

Secondly, the actual Carmiano lived and descended from the centurion Carmninius, the actual Magliano.

The Carmianese land formed Magliano, a village dependent on Carmiano, when the Kingdom of Italy, Carmiano became a commune and Magliano became a fraction.
